Solihull SUSTAiN are recruiting a Sector Development Officer

£25,060 pa (37 hours per week)

Main duties

  • to provide one-to-one advice, information and guidance to Solihull’s Voluntary Sector to enable it to sustainably improve the quality, quantity and diversity of services it provides to local people and communities.
  • to support voluntary organisations to successfully apply for financial assistance through a range of grants, tenders and commissioning opportunities as well as assisting them to refresh and develop their business plans.

RBS Inspiring Youth Enterprise Awards Open

The Royal Bank of Scotland has opened the next funding round of its Inspiring Youth Enterprise programme to support not-for-profit organisations that help young people (aged 13 to 30 years ) start their own business.

The maximum grant of £50,000 (deadline 16/09/13). The RBS Inspiring Enterprise programme offers resources to support the inspiration of entrepreneurs including in particular young people, women and social enterprise: http://www.inspiringenterprise.rbs.com/

Free Support for Health and Social Care Organisations

Safeguarding Children Voluntary Sector Half Day Conference

The Local (Solihull) Safeguarding Children’s Board has organised a conference specifically for the Voluntary & community Sector.

This half day conference is aimed at managers who work in voluntary & community sector settings which employ staff (including volunteers) to work with children/young people.
